Obverse: GOVERNMENT OF INDIA on top centre. Serial number with prefix placed on top and bottom either side. Below the promise text is language panel containing denomination in different languages. Below language panel is name of "Circle of f Issue" Issue" with mirrored dates on either side. Bottom left is "FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA" in a panel and to right is signature. Denomination panel on either side aligned vertically with 5/RUPEES on top followed by numerals in the Same languages and order as in the language panel. Green underprint of two ovals under serial number and large "5" in middle.
