FIVE RUPEES / 5 RUPEES (1914 - 1918)

Obverse: GOVERNMENT OF INDIA on top centre. Serial number with prefix placed on top left and right and bottom left. Serial number changed to six digits, "No." added before serial number. Promise text below. Below the promise text is language panel containing denomination in different languages each in Individual panel four on letadlanguagh divided by "FIVE". Below language panel identical dates on either half. Bottom centre is "FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA" in a panel and signature in right corner. Denomination panel on either side aligned vertically with 5/RUPEES on top followed by numerals in the Same languages and order as in the language panel. Red underprint of two ovals under serial number above and large "5" in middle.
